Meet David Beairsto i.e. Mr. Grill

david-beairsto-ownerI’ve always loved to cook but not as much as I love the outdoors. Obviously when the two combine I’m truly in my element. When the temperature in the northeast begins to plummet the time I spend cooking outdoors starts to diminish and the company I keep while cooking outside all but disappears.

Working from home is an inspiration in itself. With the beautiful Pocono Mountains outside my windows I’m faced with the challenge to stay at my desk and finish my work.

Family and friends are also a tremendous source of inspiration. Being able to draw from the experiences of others for information and education is an asset to any writer. As my online associations continue to mount, I’m becoming more aware of the potential for unlimited first hand knowledge available over the internet.

It’s always nice to put a face to the names of our online friends which is why I’m such a big fan of social networks. The various groups and communities we can join present an ever increasing likelihood that answers to questions are almost instantaneous. When we’re after opinions it can be even faster.

I enjoy what I do but also recognize that tomorrow I’ll try to do it even better.

So whether I’m trying to improve my latest grilled chicken or vegetables, or my knowledge of exotic international cuisine, or even the latest trends in cookware, it will always be because of an ever growing online community who are hungry for information.

Your Friend,

David Beairsto
