My friends love to talk about their tomato sauce recipes. When starting from scratch they tell me it helps to have several stainless steel stock pots on hand. One for blanching the tomatoes, one for cooking them down and one for the mountain of pasta they’ll need to let everyone have a taste.
Whether they’re taking tomatoes from their gardens for sauce, or fresh vegtables for soup the stock pots have to be stainless steel. After all that hard work, let the dishwasher clean up.
